James is a lecturer in New Media at the Hull School of Art and Design, providing teaching and support in the areas of interactive design, web design and game design. He studied for a BA (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia with the University of Lincoln, and joined the School in 2004.

He is also heavily involved with present & emerging technologies such as geographically aware and multi-user mobile/PC web applications.

James has experience as a freelance multimedia developer and has worked on e-learning projects for Universities, interactive installations with the BBC as well as web and design projects for national businesses.
