James is a lecturer in New Media at the Hull School of Art and Design, providing teaching and support in the areas of interactive design, web design and game design. He studied for a BA (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia with the University of Lincoln, and joined the School in 2004.
https://www.jamesramsden.com/2024/03/07/kd7slkl8 His current research areas include the use of mobile phones as gateways to social networks and gaming which became the primary focus of his MA in Interactive Multimedia which he has recently completed. He is also heavily involved with present & emerging technologies such as geographically aware and multi-user mobile/PC web applications.
James has experience as a freelance multimedia developer and has worked on e-learning projects for Universities, interactive installations with the BBC as well as web and design projects for national businesses.
