After spending a pleasant early morning in a car park with a camera, I now have some workable footage to play with. It’s not perfect (no tripod) but it should provide the basis for the construction of something.

I spent the productive part of today developing a Processing sketch that is now converting each of the 2216 frames of my video footage into 144 sections. Writing batch processing tools in Processing is slow going, mainly because my maths skills have atrophied during the last year, where instead of coding I’ve been mainly pointing cameras at landscapes.

At the end of the processing, I should have 319104 tiff images to do something with tomorrow. I will forego the previously planned time-lapse image capture: 319104 problems should be plenty.
